New Appointments at KOMODO07 Jan 2019 Komodo
KOMODO have been the original Ethical fashion brand since 1988. We are rebranding for AW19 by revisiting our roots with a fresh and contemporary aesthetic.
We have recently appointed Michelle Mullins as our Creative Director, Michelle worked as head of design at KOMODO eighteen years ago and has since worked as head of design for Boxfresh, as well as a Senior consultant for brands such as Puma, Superdry, Fred Perry and Great Plains. She has come full circle, coming back to the brand, where alongside our founder Mark Bloom aka Joe Komodo, they saw a gap in the ethical market and saw no better time than now to refresh the brand.
Also joining us as Sales Director, is Andrew Humphreys formerly head of UK sales at Superdry, who will be reintroducing the brand to a wider market.
After 30 years of being ethical and sustainable pioneers within the fashion industry, we are continually researching and improving our techniques to offer you the highest quality with the least impact on the environment.
We use deluxe weight GOTS certified cottons, organic hemp and bamboo, recycled PET and cruelty free wool. Working closely with family run factories, where many of our garments are produced using solar powered energy, we are working towards eliminating plastic packaging by AW19.
To preview the collections, we are holding 'The KOMODO Breakfast Club' on the 23-24th January, with complimentary food and organic coffee by an award-winning vegan chef.
This will be held at The Brick Lane Gallery, The Annexe, 93-95 Sclater Street, London, E1 6HR. From 9:30am onwards.
