Bagaweet is a handmade Egyptian brand made by marginalized women from the Red Sea cities of Safaga & Al Quseir.
It aims to transform heritage into trendy women wear for a conscious lifestyle, through color palettes and patterns, an identity was created for the Red Sea, El Quseir and Safaga cities to tell stories of the land, people, architecture, and traditions.
Bagaweet uses traditional Egyptian techniques of sewing, embroidery, fabric applique and silk screen printing to bring its designs into life. Most of the brand proceeds goes to support the Red Sea women artisans.
