IDentity Collection from Bihor Romania

IDentity means something gathered from the people to be given to the people. This gift is not just material, but spiritual. It cannot be changed or given back. The collection’s items reflect the traditional costume from Bihor, with its embroidery woven into the loom, with specific motifs such as “stitch and cross", "the wafer and ram’s horns”, “the clover”, “the candlestick”. These motifs are one of the richest categories of traditional ornaments. They have a specific glow and meaningful colors, which give them an identity of their own. The collection is a nostalgy of the origins, a connection between old and modern, legends and reality, composed of items transposed into contemporaneity, an old imprint with a fresh look.
