When and Where? Sunday 22nd July, 15.20-15.50, Main Stage.

Maya Jama is best known for her TV and radio roles.

Having joined the BBC Radio1 family only last year, Maya has recently been announced as their solo presenter for Fridays’ popular Breakfast Show and again on Saturdays’ primetime slot.

Alongside her role on the radio, Maya will next be seen on our screens presenting “Lovers and Liars”, a MTV exclusive dating show airing later this summer.

More recently, Maya released her first sell-out fashion collection in collaboration with online boutique Pretty Little Thing.

Maya is also the brand ambassador for Maybelline and sportswear brand, Adidas.

Following the success of Maya’s FREYA podcast campaign last year, she will be returning with a second installment of “When Life Gives You Melons”. The first series of which received a Top 5 podcast download with iTunes.

Maya was the youngest ever host for the MOBO’s and covered backstage at The Brits and the MTV EMAs. Along with her presenting duties, she has appeared on entertainment shows such as “Keith Lemon’s Celebrity Juice” and “Love Island: Aftersun.”

Maya has received recognition by London Evening Standard’s prestigious influencer list, The Progress 1000, an annual list of key influencers across all industries.

For her keynote delivery at Pure London, Maya will be joined by Antonia O’Brien in a Q&A session where she will address fashion, diversity and everything in between.
