Pure London partners with #TOGETHERBAND by BOTTLETOP to champion sustainable fashion
Pure London, the UK’s largest Festival of Fashion, has joined forces with #TOGETHERBAND by BOTTLETOP to champion sustainable fashion. A trade collective of global fashion designers, brands, buyers, creative minds and inspiring trends, the next edition of Pure London will see the return of the Sustainable destination showcasing a carefully curated selection of conscious exhibitors leading the way in addressing their environmental and social impact and sponsored by #TOGETHERBAND by BOTTLETOP.
Entirely unique to Pure London, the Sustainable destination uses the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to assess the impact of all exhibitors, who must demonstrate that they are tackling specific key issues to exhibit within the destination. Building on the success of its launch at the February show, Sustainable will continue to raise the profile of ethical and sustainable fashion across the entire event, helping lower the industry’s carbon footprint and invest in a better future.
Perfectly aligned with the ethos and purpose of the destination is the new Pure London partner #TOGETHERBRAND, launched on World Earth Day in 2019 by British luxury sustainable brand BOTTLETOP the campaign is a global movement that aims to bring together one billion citizens to promote and achieve the SDGs.
Co-Founder of #TOGETHERBAND by BOTTLETOP Cameron Saul says, “We are thrilled to partner with Pure London to raise awareness and inspire action on the delivery of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - our route map for a healthy planet - to the UK retail sector through #TOGETHERBAND.

Joining #TOGETHERBAND by BOTTLETOP in the Sustainable Destination will be a host of environmentally conscious, innovative and inspiring brands including Pink Lemons, Mirla Beane, Ochre Cashmere, Nila Rubia, Line Planet, RADADA, RAS100, Eno Eco, Ubere Mama and Friends of the Sea.
Pure London launched the Power of One® in 2018, an initiative designed to empower retailers and suppliers to take small steps towards changing the impact of fashion. Pure London has continued to develop this initiative by informing exhibitors of the challenges facing the industry and how to take steps to overcome them, including the launch of The Independent Retailers Sustainability Tool Kit earlier this year, curating a rich programme of expert speakers to tackle the issues in live panel discussions and by taking practical steps to become a more sustainable event.

To reduce the use of plastic onsite at the event, Pure London encourage all visitors, exhibitors and staff to bring their own water bottles which they can fill up for free during the show.
Royal Trinity Hospice have partnered with Pure London venue Olympia London as part of their Net Zero pledge. As part of this, Royal Trinity Hospice will collect any surplus donations from events held at Olympia, such as furniture (mirrors, display equipment etc), stock and samples. All exhibitors can donate their leftover items to this cause for FREE.
