At eighteen, having decided that university was not for me, I went to work for Harrods, and fell in love with fashion retail, becoming clerk to two of the fashion buyers.
From there I moved to Jaeger, and after ten years in various roles, I joined Fenwick and became a lingerie buyer, still one of my first loves.
After marrying in 1998, and a baby later, I became my own boutique owner, and fourteen years ago my goldsmith husband and I bought our present premises, moved our businesses in together, and have flourished ever since.
