Brand Focus - Mink Pink

Australian young fashion label Minkpink has chosen Pure London to launch its womenswear collection to the UK market.

The brand, which is distributed in the UK by Out & About, will be exhibiting in the Spirit section of Pure London in February.

Established in 2005, Minkpink is stocked by 400 boutiques in its home country and has expanded into Canada, the US and Japan where it is sold through high profile stores such as Urban Outfitters, Bloomingdales and Macy's.

The designers trawl the globe for inspiration to create the Minkpink signature look which is inspired by street style, high end design and vintage pieces.  With six collections per year and additional injection ranges, Minkpink ensures there are always new styles to keep customers coming back for more.  Wholesale prices start at £11 for tops, £14 for skirts and £18 for dresses.

Sarah Goodfellow from Out & About says a number of UK buyers are already familiar with the brand, having seen it at international trade fairs. Online retailer ASOS.com is the first UK store to have picked up the label and will launch the first collection this month.

Goodfellow adds: "Pure will see the official sales launch of Minkpink for A/W 2010 and we're hoping to introduce the brand to boutiques throughout the UK. We receive emails daily from customers who have spotted Minkpink on line and want to know where they can buy in the UK - we seem to have developed quite a following before we've even launched, which is great!"
